The Pintel Shim is designed for use with the pintel. It installs between the exterior surface and the underside of the pintel. The Pintel Shim adds height to the pintel, which connects with the hinge to make the shutter fully operable. Pintel Shims are stackable to achieve proper thickness. They are sold individually for an excellent price. Pintel Shims are crafted in black polyamide plastic, a durable material for exterior applications. The black finish matches our pintels.
